Seattle: Week 1

I've been in Seattle for one week now. I'm getting a little tired of the food at the hotel. While it may be of super high quality, I am used to all raw food, so it's been difficult (or easy if I just want to be lazy) to adjust, and that's not something I want. I haven't encountered too much traffic while driving around, and I know that Seattle is notorious for it's traffic. We'll see how it is once I get into my place on Mercer Island. I officially have a job & am also leaving for Australia in a few hours

As of earlier today, I am officially employed. My focus is in e-commerce, online marketing, etc, so I'm not purely a salesperson – which is nice. I tried to make it clear all along that I enjoy sales, but do not want that to define me or my career. I start July 14th. On another note, I had been planning for quite awhile to go to Europe after I signed my offer, but on a whim, I checked prices to Sydney, Australia, and lo' and behold, it's actually cheaper right now to fly there, so I bought a ticket to leave tomorrow.
