What we all need online. Will you final succeed for us?

If you’ve ever built an online campaign, you’ll know how difficult it can be to find the best tools for the job… different tools from what you are accustomed to using, because every project necessitates a slightly altered approach from what you’ve used before.

It’s time that the information about who is best, what strategy is best, what are the best services, etc was pulled together into one place. I need an Amazon.com of SEO services, a Costco of UI & UX companies, a smorgasbord of online options all in one place. There’s the seed of a business, and that’s a fortune waiting to be made.

Note: Funny enough, I was told that my voice doesn’t sound like this in real life. I just thought that was in my head. ;-)

  • Do you mean something along the lines of elance but for social media, where people can offer their services?
  • Elance is a little different from what I was thinking. I was thinking more that there would be a store, where we could find all of these tools and services, get reviews and advice on what are best for certain types of campaigns, and then interact with both buyers and sellers... kind of like we have on a lot of other large online marketplaces.
  • Ah. That shouldn't be too hard, I would think. Lots of coding, but I am sure there are people who you can find to do it.
  • Oh, definitely, but I think a real business could be built around trying to commoditize all of these web services. Would I consider taking that onto my plate too? Yep, but if some enterprising young individual wanted to take it onto his/her plate and run with it full-time, I would be fully behind him. ;-)

Thanks for engaging on this, Cody. You've gotten the gears in my head turning even more.
