Australia Trip: Pt 4
One day, Chris and I took the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Park and got lunch at the Bavarian brewery. It was amazing how similar Manly is to surfing/tourist towns you would see all along the US Pacific coast.
I wouldn’t normally eat meat, but since I was traveling, I decided to try a lot of things that I would not typically. At the brewery, they had a Schnitzel “challenge.”

If you finished it, you got a free drink, so I gave it a go.

It was pretty big, and underneath was a plate full of fries and salad. I finished it and got my drink.
This was the view on the way back from Manly.

On my birthday, I headed into Sydney to check out the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You can walk over the top of the arches. (Notice the people walking on the left arch)

That tour costs more than $150. I did not want to pay for that, so I paid to go up one of the pylons. $12 and a great view. (The Botanical Gardens are right behind the Opera House)

I took so many pictures that I started playing with the settings on my camera to get different looks from the same types of pics.

Chris and I went to Hungry Jacks.
Turns out it’s the exact same thing as Burger King. . . same products, same menu, same graphics, same owners, just a different name. Don’t know why.
