Seattle: Week 2

Things this week have gone well. I was approved for my new place on Mercer Island and was able to sign the papers yesterday, so I pick up the keys on the 1st and head up to Bellingham so that I can meet the movers the next morning. They'll pack my things, move them down to my new place, and then unpack all in the same day, which will be pretty nice. . . only taking a day to move. At work, we had two regional directors visiting this week. Seattle: Week 1

I've been in Seattle for one week now. I'm getting a little tired of the food at the hotel. While it may be of super high quality, I am used to all raw food, so it's been difficult (or easy if I just want to be lazy) to adjust, and that's not something I want. I haven't encountered too much traffic while driving around, and I know that Seattle is notorious for it's traffic. We'll see how it is once I get into my place on Mercer Island. When I drove back to the hotel after seeing it the first time, it only took 7 minutes during rush hour. Oh, btw, the lady from Seattle Apartment Finders that helped me find the place was pretty cool.
