Self-Promotion for Smart People

I have eaten completely raw, driven into town alone, driven to school alone, and schwitzed up a storm in class while looking for jobs online. This Earth Day seems to have come with little fanfare. I would have nearly forgotten if NPR had not had special segments on it and if MSNBC had not had a little “Green Universal” symbol in the bottom right of every picture.
I hope that everyone is doing his/her little bit for Mother Earth today.

I just watched Into the Wild. I was impressed. I never read the Krakauer book – despite loving his other books. It seems like the screenwriters probably changed a lot from how it was written in the book, but IMHO, it was well worth the 2.5 hours of my life. . . some of which I spent making spicy guacamole while also watching.
